SUMMARY:
Responsible for achieving revenue targets by acquiring and maintaining customer relationships in the West US region (West Coast, West Canada, East including MT/WY/CO and NM) for all Pulse products excluding Wireless. Also responsible to manage distributors branch offices and representatives to achieve regional financial objectives. Coordinates with Sales Business Unit (SBU), Product Business Unit (PBU) and Operations leadership to meet customer requirements and resolve customer issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: BSEE or BA in Marketing or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five (5) years sales experience in magnetic components or other related industries combined with team and customer account & territory management.
KNOWLEDGE: Basic knowledge of electronics and familiarity with circuits. Basic understanding of component manufacturing processes and technology.
SKILLS: Strong computer familiarity with MS office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Superior interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills required.
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
Internal: Regular interactions with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Inside Sales and Customer Service personnel, Business Unit leadership and executive level leadership.
External: Regular interactions with all levels of personnel with customers and franchised representatives and distributors.

SUMMARY
Establish relationships with key design engineers and marketing managers at Distribution and OEM customers in the West US region (West Coast, West Canada, East including MT/WY/CO and NM) to achieve design wins for all Pulse Network, Power and Automotive products (excluding Wireless). Focus on early development stage engagement to ensure that a competitive Pulse magnetic component is designed in. This individual should coordinate closely and effectively with the engineering and marketing teams of the Product Business Units (PBU), other sales teams around the world, regional customer service, as well as the Operations teams.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: BSEE or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE: 4-7 years overall work experience required, of which 1-2 years electronic design experience and 1-2 years OEM sales experience of electronic components is preferred. 3-4 years of work experience within the Network, Power or Automotive industries highly valued
KNOWLEDGE: Basic knowledge of electronics circuits and magnetics component manufacturing
SKILLS: Working knowledge of MS Office Products including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

INTERNAL: Daily interaction with Account Managers in order to target account coordination of silicon-driven magnetic design opportunities and product development. Junior Field Applications Engineer
Power Business Unit

SUMMARY
The Field Applications Engineer (FAE) provides technical expertise to a variety of customers that integrate Pulse products with a Power Integrated Circuit (IC) and related components for power conversion application designs. Duties will include providing support for all phases of product development from initial customer contact through to production status for any Power products on an as-needed basis. Must be familiar with AC/DC and DC/DC converter topologies and how Pulse’s Power products are used in them. Assignments include interpretations of designs, applications, and service information as well as generating specifications for new design opportunities. The FAE must be able to work with various Pulse support groups (Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, and Process) as well as Pulse’s Sales Reps and Distributors to support customer requirements. The FAE must be able to establish relationships with key decision makers at Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Original Design Manufacturer (ODM), Contract Equipment Manufacturer (CEM), and Integrated Chip (IC) manufacturers. The FAE will gather and disseminate information concerning the capabilities of a competitor’s products. The FAE represents customer interests at internal technical meetings and will conduct technical training and presentations internally and externally.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
BSEE required.
EXPERIENCE:
2-8 years overall work experience required with 2 years FAE experience or as Design Engineer
KNOWLEDGE:
Experienced with various DC/DC and AC/DC converter topologies and in specifying power magnetics that work optimally in the in the intended application.
SKILLS:
Working knowledge of MS Office Products including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Sales Force.
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
INTERNAL:
Daily interaction with Marketing to coordinate magnetic design opportunities and product development. Will have daily interaction with divisional Design Engineers to aid in specifying product requirements for new designs and provide technical support of current products. Weekly interaction with Power Division cross functional team to prioritize and schedule product development needs.
EXTERNAL:
Daily interaction with OEM/ODM and smaller customers to provide technical support and Integrated Circuit manufacturers to define magnetics in support of their reference and custom designs.
